Here at YOUphoria we do our best to ensure that each client enjoys their visit. Below are some suggestions and policies to help you, as well as every person that visits our spa, have the very best experience possible.
Appointments:
Booking an appointment is always recommended. We do our best to accommodate every client. Peak hours are often late afternoons and weekends (especially Saturdays), so book as far in advance as possible in order to ensure getting the particular time, day, and technician you want. You may also book a standing appointment to ensure you always get your prime appointment time. When booking please inform the receptionist of any discounts, specials or coupons you may be using or if you will be using a gift certificate for payment for any service. Policies regarding certain appointments or payment types may vary; this will help the receptionist inform you of any policies that may pertain to your particular appointment. If you schedule your appointment online please provide this information in the appointment notes box.
Arrival:
If you are a first time visitor to YOUphoria please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment and inform the receptionist that it is your first visit to the spa. We may have some paperwork for you to complete depending on the service you are receiving.
If you are a returning visitor please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time and inform the receptionist if you are receiving any particular services for the first time. Different services may require a different questionnaire, for example: if you have had a massage with us before but you will be receiving your first facial at YOUphoria you will be given a facial questionnaire to complete.
If you arrive late to an appointment your appointment time may be shortened. The technician will not be able to extend your service beyond the scheduled appointment time in most cases. This is because the treatment room or station and technician are generally booked after your session.
Gratuities:
15 to 20 percent gratuity is customary. You may choose to leave gratuities with the receptionist or give them directly to your technician.
Cell Phones and Socializing:
Because the day spa environment is supposed to be a tranquil and stress-reducing experience, we request that you leave cell phones and pagers at home or turn them off before entering the day spa.
When in the relaxation room and elsewhere in the day spa, we ask that you be mindful of others. Please keep conversations at a low volume.
Children:
To ensure the relaxing experience for all of our guests, children under 16 will not be permitted in the spa area without an appointment.
